Wodding!

IMG_9876So today I did my first “big girl!” No on ramp, no training wheels, just me and the 10 or so other folks that came to the 4pm session. We found our 1 rep and 3 rep maxes on thrusters and then did 5 rounds of 10 power cleans and 10 burpees. I finished in 12:38. And it sucked, but it rocked! Everyone was so cool and supportive.

Dinner was an epic win, also. Italian sausage with sauteed veggies, marinara over spaghetti squash, roasted broccoli, and green beans. The only non-local foods were the broccoli and the squash. The kiddos declared it awesome and so did John and I.

Food today:

Breakfast – morning muffin, water

Lunch – chicken salad, two hard-boiled eggs, and water

Dinner – see above, and water

After dinner  – a glass of red wine with my favorite neighbors, another hard-boiled egg, supplements with some yummy fizzy Izze soda. The soda is sooooo not paleo – but it better than a Dr. Pepper (no caffeine, no high fructose corn syrup, and about a third of the calories of a regular soda.
